Back in the early 1960's, my grandfather Charlie Sr. turned his natural passion for cars into a business when he founded Central Auto Sales in Cambridge, MA.

Even though the company involved cars, Charlie knew that it was really about the people and the kind of service that made them feel respected and appreciated.

A decade later Charlie Jr. took his turn

Come 1974 his son (my father), Charlie Jr., made his own leap into the automobile world when he started Cadillac City.

While maintaining his father's approach to customer service and pricing, Charlie Jr. recognized opportunities for expansion, and he worked diligently to make them a reality.

 

He believed a stronger company would deliver an even greater value to customers.

50 years and still evolving

My father and grandfather's passion for both automobiles and customers rubbed off on me. It's hard to believe it's been almost 20 years since I joined the family business. Back then, I saw how much of a hassle it was for people to sell their vehicles. It was even more stressful trying to negotiate a trade-in at the local dealer.

I wanted to help solve this problem, and thus BostonCarBuyers.com was born. Since then, we've evolved to DirectCarBuyers.com, where we specialize in making it easy for people to sell their vehicles.

Lot's has changed over the last 20 years, but one thing remains the same: our passion for helping people sell their vehicles hassle free & fast.
